Just a short drive from Cape Coral are some of Florida's most beautiful beaches.
Sanibel Island is world-famous for its seashells. Standing on Lighthouse Beach early in the morning, when the light softens and the sea is calm, is one of the most beautiful moments in the region for us.
Captiva Island feels like postcard-perfect Florida: colorful houses, palm trees, turquoise waters like in the Caribbean, and spectacular sunsets. Perfect for a relaxing day at the beach followed by dinner by the water.
Gasparilla Island and Boca Grande showcase "Old Florida." No skyscrapers, hardly any traffic, but miles of almost untouched sandy beaches. Our insider tip: Sunset at the Boca Grande Pier – pure magic.
If you're looking for a stylish evening, we recommend Naples – Fifth Avenue South. Here, palm trees, galleries, and excellent restaurants combine to create a special atmosphere. A stroll after sunset feels almost Mediterranean.
For relaxed shopping in the open air, the Miromar Outlets are ideal – premium brands, spacious facilities and genuine Florida flair.
The River District in Fort Myers Downtown is also worth a visit: small restaurants, historic buildings and live music in the evening make up the charm of this district.
